498 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the number and FTE of Advanced Choice of Employment (ACE) nursing graduates, if any, who were hired in Hawke’s Bay region during the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as of 27 January 2026, a total of 53 graduate registered nurses have been hired by Health New Zealand in Hawkes' Bay through the Advanced Choice of Employment process, across the mid-year and end-of-year 2025 intakes. I am further advised that the FTE for individual nurses will be determined by the district through the offer and acceptance process.
