495 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the current number of nurses in the Health New Zealand Advanced Choice of Employment (ACE) Talent Pool who have Hawke’s Bay as a preferred/selected location, if any?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that for the Mid-Year 2025 intake, 1 registered nurse selected Hawke's Bay as preferred employer/district. I am further advised that for the End of Year 2025 intake, as at 18 February 2026, 5 registered nurses selected Hawke's Bay as preferred employer/district.
