494 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: What actions, if any, has the Minister's departments or agencies, if any, made in implementing the Cabinet Office Circular titled "Impact-Analysis Requirement?"

Hon Simon Watts: I am advised that Inland Revenue is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that staff members involved in policy development and the preparation of submissions for Cabinet and Cabinet Committees are familiar with the directives in the Cabinet Office Circular. This includes awareness of the new early engagement process with the Ministry of Regulation and changes to the impact analysis requirements.
