463 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: What actions, if any, has the Minister's departments or agencies, if any, made in implementing the Cabinet Office Circular titled "Impact-Analysis Requirement?"

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the Cabinet Office Circular referred to was issued on Monday 16 December 2024, and came into effect on 1 January 2025. Police has noted and will apply these new obligations and the revised requirements for agencies to meet when progressing any future government regulatory proposals. In regard to the Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the SFO has not taken any specific actions in relation to the Cabinet Office Circular ‘Impact-Analysis Requirement’.
