458 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Health: How many, if any, claims for historic abuse have been closed by the Ministry of Health or Crown Health Financing Agency since the service's establishment, listed annually?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that the information the Member has requested is not easily accessible and therefore cannot be provided. However, I am informed that there have been approximately 700 cases settled in total, including the Crown Health Financing Agency claims settled in 2012. This number excludes Lake Alice Child and Adolescent Unit claims.
