437 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What correspondence or plans exist for new build or updated Fire and Emergency New Zealand training buildings around the country; for which locations, and when?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by Fire and Emergency that it is in the process of developing a new national training strategy, which will inform future investment decisions on how and where training is delivered. Any future investment in new or upgraded training buildings will be considered through its standard prioritisation process alongside other property needs.
