430 (2024). Darleen Tana to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: What instructions has he given officials, if any, about the cameras on boats programme?

Hon Shane Jones: I have asked officials to provide an update on the on-board camera programme and advice on issues related to ongoing programme costs. I have also instructed officials that I do not intend to amend the cost recovery regulations agreed by the previous Government for industry’s contribution during the 2024/25 fishing year.
