415 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: What actions, if any, has the Minister's departments or agencies, if any, made in implementing the Cabinet Office Circular titled "Impact-Analysis Requirement?"

Hon Chris Penk: Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) regularly carries out regulatory impact analysis as part of its policy development processes. I have been advised that LINZ ensures it meets the requirements of the revised circular, including engaging early with the Ministry for Regulation and by building the revised steps into policy project planning.
