403 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: What actions, if any, has the Minister's departments or agencies, if any, made in implementing the Cabinet Office Circular titled "Impact-Analysis Requirement?"

Hon Paul Goldsmith: On 11 December 2024, the Ministry of Justice’s Policy Group staff were advised of the upcoming Cabinet Office changes to the Regulatory Impact Analysis requirements and wider regulatory policy making process changes. On 16 December 2024, the Cabinet Office Circular (CO (24) 7 was circulated to the Policy Group management for distribution and sharing with their teams. The Ministry of Justice will also update its Regulatory Impact Statement writing and quality assurance training material to reflect these changes at future training sessions.
