392 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How much, if any, of the $58 million accelerated funding for operating maintenance work that she announced on 22 September 2025 has been allocated to schools; and how much, if any, has been spent?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that, of the $58 million allocated, $49.1 million has been distributed to schools to accelerate operating maintenance works. All schools who are eligible have received funding. Approximately $46 million of these funds have been spent. The remaining funding, just under $9 million, has been or will be used for the remediation of sand containing asbestos.
