384 (2024). Steve Abel to the Associate Minister of Agriculture: Has the minister had correspondence with stakeholders or individuals where reinstating live animal exports has been raised, and if so, who were these stakeholders or individuals?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: In my role as Associate Minister of Agriculture (Animal Welfare, Skills) between 29 November 2023 and 9 February 2024, I have received correspondence from several stakeholders, including SAFE, Holstein Friesian New Zealand, and the Royal Society for the Prevention of the Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). I have also received correspondence from a range of interested members of the public.
