382 (2024). Steve Abel to the Associate Minister of Agriculture: Has the minister had meetings with stakeholders or individuals where reinstating live animal exports has been raised, and if so, who were these stakeholders or individuals?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: In my role as Associate Minister of Agriculture (Animal Welfare, Skills), between 29 November 2023 and 9 February 2024, I have met with the Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, where reinstating live animal exports has been raised.
