Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How much, if anything, has been spent on the activities of the Ministerial Advisory Group established to advise on the establishment of the New Zealand School Property Agency and how does that figure breakdown by fees paid to members, travel and other costs?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that, from when the Ministerial Advisory Group was established in March 2025 through to December 2025, the total spend for fees paid to members was circa $78,000 (excluding GST). Additional costs for travel (airfares, taxis, car parking), accommodation, catering, meeting room hire, and secretariat services was circa $170,000 (excluding GST).
