357 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How many off-site manufactured classrooms, if any, has the Ministry of Education purchased in each of the past five financial years and so far in 2025/26 and what was the total cost of these buildings in each of those years?

Hon Erica Stanford: The number and total cost of off site manufactured classrooms purchased by the Ministry of Education in the past five financial years, and to date in 2025/26, are provided in the attached table. Currently, in the 2025/26 financial year, 95 classrooms are in construction but not yet fully purchased. There are also a further 110 classrooms, as offsite manufactured solutions, that are being considered whether orders may be placed in this financial year. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 358 (2026).
