340 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: How much, if anything, was spent on the services provided by LearningFirst during the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education does not separate spend by calendar year. As of 27 January 2026, the Ministry of Education has spent $1,568,702.24 on services provided by Learning First for the work underway to update the national curriculum. This covers the financial years 2024/25 and 2025/26 to date.
