329 (2024). Darleen Tana to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: Did he consider whether to jointly propose COMM 12 – Prop 10 at the 12th meeting of the SPRFMO Commission (COMM12) with Australia; and if so, why was this not proposed jointly?

Hon Shane Jones: New Zealand did not propose this jointly with Australia because we needed more time to consider the proposal and consult with stakeholders.
