322 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Has the Minister met with the Chief Justice since appointment, if so what were the topics of discussion at that meeting?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I met with the Chief Justice, the Rt Hon Dame Helen Winkelmann, on 7 December 2023. The main topics discussed at that meeting were court timeliness, access to civil justice, court infrastructure, courts as an essential service, remote participation in court proceedings, and the Pacific Justice Sector Programme.
