308 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Is the Minister committed to progressing the Pou Tikanga with the National Iwi Chairs Forum as set out in the Briefing to the Incoming Minister?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Yes. As the Lead Minister for Pou Tikanga I am committed to progressing the relationship between the Crown and Pou Tikanga. Since this Government has formed, I have met with the Pou Tikanga Chair and Lead Technician multiple times to discuss and progress our relationship, and plan to meet again soon.
