301 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: How many tenancy reviews have been started since 25 March 2024 and how many, if any, of those reviews resulted in the tenancy ending?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) is unable to provide the Member with the data requested. Currently the data requested would require substantial collation and engagement and divert Ministry staff from their core duties. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, that the time, and hence the expense, of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest. I am further advised that the Ministry is developing system reporting that will provide regular reporting on Tenancy reviews.
