294 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: How many people, if any, have left the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development’s emergency housing social outcomes-based contracting trial without moving out of emergency housing into more stable housing and how does that number break down by location?

Hon Tama Potaka: People are not required to let the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) know where they live once they stop receiving assistance. There is a requirement to balance the requirement to monitor the effectiveness of our interventions with peoples' right to privacy.
