Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: How many people, if any, who participated in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development’s emergency housing social outcomes-based contracting trial applied for emergency housing later applied for emergency housing and how many, if any, of those people had their applications approved?

Hon Tama Potaka: People are not required to let the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) know where they live once they stop receiving assistance. There is a requirement to balance the requirement to monitor the effectiveness of our interventions with peoples' right to privacy.
