283 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Police: Are the Police undertaking their regular cannabis chopper operation in the 2023-24 summer season?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the National Cannabis Flying Eradication operation, named Operation Emerald, is occurring in the 2023/2024 season. Operational Emerald focuses on the commercial cultivation of cannabis. Police is sending a clear message to these groups that their unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated, and Police is focused on holding people to account for their actions.
