276 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Justice: What work if any has been undertaken to date to "Rewrite the Arms Act 1983"?

Hon Nicole McKee: The Government has a broad programme of work to reform firearms law over this parliamentary term. I am receiving advice on how these commitments will be progressed. My immediate focus is on progressing the Government’s 100-day plan commitment to start work on repealing and replacing Part 6 of the Arms Act 1983 relating to clubs and ranges.
