273 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: What actions, if any, has the Minister's departments or agencies, if any, made in implementing the updated Flexible Working (Work From Home) Guidance?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised that the Ministry for the Environment has reviewed the Flexible Working Guidance from the Public Service Commission and has compared it against current employment agreements, policies and practices in the Ministry. The Ministry is acting in compliance with existing employment agreements and policies and will continue to reinforce obligations in these areas and align practices and future changes in employment agreements and policies with guidance. As a Crown Entity, the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is not required to implement the Flexible Working (Work From Home) Guidance.
