241 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Education: What "performance plans", if any, broken down by date issued and titled, has the Minister or their agencies or departments, if any, prepared?

Hon Erica Stanford: As part of Phase Two of the fiscal sustainability programme Cabinet required all Government Departments to complete Performance Plans [CAB 24 Min 0273 refers] to give effect to the Government’s intention to have a better plan for spending over the medium-term. This is led by the Treasury as part of the budget process. I am advised that on 7 November 2024, the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) submitted a Draft Initial Performance Plan to the Treasury. This included a view of the Crown entities that the Ministry monitors, and the Crown owned companies the Ministry funds, across Vote Education and Vote Tertiary Education. I am advised that the Education Review Office has one performance plan titled Education Review Office (ERO): 2025-26 Performance Plan dated 31 October 2024.
