240 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What actions, if any, has the Minister's departments or agencies, if any, made in implementing the Cabinet Office Circular titled "Impact-Analysis Requirement?"

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the Policy Group of the New Zealand Customs Service held a seminar in late December 2024 for policy staff to advise them of the Cabinet Office Circular CO (24) 7 titled “Impact Analysis Requirements”. All policy staff have access to the Cabinet Office Circular, and the guidance documents and Regulatory Impact Statement templates provided by the Ministry for Regulation. Customs policy staff are using the new material when appropriate.
