232 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Defence: How many personal grievance cases, broken down by success status, if any, were filed in the Ministers departments, if any, in the 2024 and 2025 calendar years?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that in the 2024 calendar year, 12 personal grievances (PG) were lodged with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF). Of these, six PG cases were unsuccessful and six cases remain open. No personal grievances have been lodged with the NZDF from 1 January to 31 January 2025. No personal grievance cases were lodged with the Ministry of Defence in the 2024 and 2025 calendar year.
