203 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Housing: On what occasions, if any, has Cabinet considered decisions relating to the Melling Interchange, and for each of these, what actions did he take to manage his potential perceived conflict of interest regarding Melling Interchange?

Hon Chris Bishop: Cabinet considered one paper: "Government Policy Statement 2024 and NZ Upgrade Programme Tagged Contingency for Transport Projects" on 16 December 2024. This paper was taken to Cabinet by Hon Simeon Brown as the Minister of Transport at the time. At all times, I follow Cabinet Office rules.
