191 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Attorney-General: Does the Attorney intend to amend the Judicial Protocol relating to judicial appointments to remove references to "actively promoting diversity in the judiciary" given her response to WPQ 29857 (2023) ?

Hon Judith Collins: I have not considered the issue. As I noted in my response to WPQ 29857 (2023), judicial appointments will be made based on merit, taking into account all appropriate attributes.
