176 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Was the draft cabinet paper on the Treaty Principles Bill leaked from his or from the Ministry of Justice?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The draft legislation bid was not received by my office until after the document was publicly disclosed. I am advised by the Secretary for Justice that the paper was held by three other agencies in addition to the Ministry of Justice. All four agencies have investigated the handling of the paper within their organisations.
