145 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Regulation: Given the answer to WPQ 31033 /23 have any appointments been made to assist in establishing a "new government department, required to assess the quality of new and existing legislation and regulation"?

Hon David Seymour: Work has started to establish the new agency, including recruitment of an establishment team and the legal process required under the Public Service Act 2020, and I expect it to be established as soon as it is practicable.
