Arena Williams to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: How many Inter-Island Resilient Connection project workers, if any, whether staff or contractors, had relocated to Picton prior to the Government's decision, announced by the Minister of Finance on 11 December 2023, to cancel the project?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that KiwiRail is not aware of any of its employees relocating to Picton for the iReX project. I am also advised that KiwiRail would not know if any contractors relocated to Picton for the project as this information is held by the contractors themselves.
