105 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Can the Minister confirm that there will be no reductions to the salaries, allowances or benefits of any person appointed the Employment Relations Authority, the Disputes Tribunal, the Waitangi Tribunal, or any other tribunal?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised the remuneration of officers of the Employment Relations Authority, Disputes Tribunal and Waitangi Tribunal is determined by the Remuneration Authority. The Authority is prohibited by law from reducing the remuneration of any incumbent of any of the roles it determines.
