53 (2025). Steve Abel to the Minister of Conservation: How many, if any, access arrangements for prospecting on conservation land have been granted since January 1, 2023, and to whom?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by the Department of Conservation that 15 access arrangements have been issued for prospecting activities, defined as Minimum Impact Activities under the Crown Minerals Act, since 1 January 2023. I refer you to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 52 (2025) for the specific companies these access arrangements have been issued to.
