31 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: When, if at all, did the minister request advice on the changes to the visitor visa announced on January 27th 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: It was a pre-election position to enable digital nomads to work remotely for overseas-based companies. Therefore, it has been part of work programme discussions with officials since I became Minister.
